One of the many beautiful facets of life is the long standing tradition of welcoming new neighbors; and A Welcome Home does it very well… it’s our business. But, to us it’s more than just business that makes us love what we do!
A Welcome Home was created by a woman motivated by a strong urge to unite people to achieve mutual benefits. Ghingher & Allen Erickson have been married for more than 16 years. Starting in 1994 she started bringing her successful way of bringing people together in a successful mutually beneficial marketing of new homeowners with the businesses who truly care about their increasing community and future customers. A Welcome Home is still growing and networking together the fabulous existing businesses in our community with our newest neighbors.
Ghingher is very involved in her community activities related to her family, community and congregation volunteering. Personally she is a naturalist, promoting recycling, and protection of our environment. Is known to pick up strays and return them to their families.

Virginia, or affectionately known as "Ghingher" (German spelling) has been in advertising for 15 years. Ghingher loves working with community minded businesses to help them grow a strong foundation of service to our community for years to come...with each new mover they meet. As well, as she has never met a stranger, to welcome new families to our community is natural to her above average warmth and kindness. She is a TRUE people person and could not resist the opportunity to extend a warm welcome to our new families.
With pride and purpose she carefully builds each package with gifts in the form of gift certificates from area businesses, info on their area, important numbers, history, parks, maps, and a personal hello from our Mayor and much much more.....the essentials for each new family. She is a wonderfully loving Mother of three ranging in ages of: 14, 6, & 2. She volunteers in our community and schools, as well as with her congregation on a regular basis.
